Would a windows repair fix this?

I doubt it, but im too lazy to do the research. I would imagine that it's possible though.

Ccleaner is awesome and free. Reg Mechanic does a nice job too but it's not free.

i wouldnt call regedit "free"...

i mean, doesnt the windows OS cost a few hundred bucks?
