Does anyone know of any way, any 3rd party service, etc that will help forward voicemail to email, as a wav file attachment, etc?
I'm thinking if there are any services that will dial the access # and record the voicemail, or something to that effect, surely someone's done it? I can't find anything, though. 2/17/2006 11:12:33 AM |

Cisco's Unity system can do this, but somehow I don't think that's what you're looking for. 2/17/2006 11:59:02 AM |

you'd be best off finding a device to do this rather than a service i think.
If you have vonage you could send it to an asterisk box and do like a billion things with it, including voicemail to email or pager/cellphone. It also has a basic web based voicemail system.
Tho if you're still using a PSTN connection you'd need to buy a card to use it with asterisk.
altho iirc vonage already has their own voicemail system which makes this moot.

accessline.com - they do it for my 800 work number that i forward to my cellphone or desk phone depending on where i am - if i don't answer instead of the phone's answering machine/voicemail it goes to accessline's voicemail then emails a .wav file 2/19/2006 10:55:20 PM |
