Well, nobody in the damn town of Asheboro will touch these things even though a local place managed to get them on originally a few months ago. So, where in Raleigh can I get these tires mounted/balanced that won't f it up? Thanks.

on a similar note toyota of durham has the most advanced machine ive ever seen. you set the tire/wheel assembly up there and hit a button and it does all the work.

most places told me it wasn't the size of the rim that made it so hard, it was the low profile. their machines just weren't strong enough...hell I saw how much trouble the place in Asheboro had getting them on, took a few mexicans a lot of struggling and jerking on the tire (helping the machine) to get them to go on... Anyways, I'll give one of these places a shot sometime this week. If any of you see me on the side of the road, you know why

last time i went to discount tire i asked for static balance and stick on weights, norrin radd (matt w.) hooked it up so i could get that done for free and i slipped him a 20.

turns out i got static balance, but they forgot to take all the old weights off the outside AND they didnt use the stick on weights.
