With the novelty of the songs they play in the style the do it, the level of musicianship in this group is often overlooked.

The Reno Brothers are masters of their instrument and steeped in bluegrass tradition, and the guys they have playing with them aren't too bad either. They usually show this by playing Charlotte Breakdown or some other Reno and Smiley material in the middle of their sets.

they were good like they usually are, but the pour house is way too small for them. place was way too crowded to enjoy it.
