Stash Card, Secret Laptop Drawer
The StashCard from Wireless Garden lets you hide items in a secret compartment which slots nicely into an unused PC card slot you might have on your laptop. Nice for holding cards or cash (if you're brave enough), a really nice idea for converting unused space into storage. 2/20/2006 3:19:30 PM |

^ they do xray the laptop though
This just sonds like a way to have more important stuff stolen. Suppose you get your laptop stolen. Now, not only are you out one laptop, but you're also missing whatever important you stashed inside.

^^ that only matters for metal/solid items being hidden in it. If you were to uniformly fill it with say.. coke or pure heroin... then it would just show up like a grey area or something and not look different from any other internal component.
sure you couldn't sneak alot in it, but a personal supply would fit just fine. Also, some laptops have 2 pcmcia slots. You could even relabel the cards so they had the stickers from an 802.11g card on them. Maybe keep a few extra in your bag.
