They are giving a free feed on their website. Hopefully this will help those not in the area be able to watch it.

Quote :
"Raycom Sports and Jefferson Pilot Sports, in conjunction with the Atlantic Coast Conference, are pleased to offer an exclusive live video webcast of the R/JP produced UNC vs. NC State men’s basketball game on Wednesday, February 22 at 9:00p ET.

Fans in the states of Maryland (DC), Georgia and Florida with broadband (high-speed) connections on personal computers will be able to watch live coverage of the event at http://www.RJPSports.com. Local television coverage will of course also be provided across the states of North Carolina, South Carolina & Virginia.

To access the webcasts viewers will simply need to log on to http://www.RJPSports.com and click on the “Watch Live Event” link on the home page. This webcast is offered as part of an initial test period and will be provided free of charge to the user. Viewers will need to complete a brief registration prior to viewing the event. Again, this event will only be made available over the internet to viewers in the states of Maryland (DC), Georgia & Florida.

Live coverage of this event held from the RBC Center at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, will be provided by Raycom/Jefferson Pilot. "

their excuse on the no HD issue is that each different affiliate they send their broadcast would have to convert in the same manner, which they don't(IE: a fox affiliate converting the same as cbs). Which is the same reason syndicated shows aren't syndicated in HD.

how is there not a way to work with that? Plus, I think they borrowed their cameras from 1991.

about the HD issue.. how did all the networks broadcast the State of the Union in HD.. the conversion isn't that hard.. and I'm sure 1080i networks can switch over to 720p and/or 720p to 1080i.. then there's always transmitting it in 1080i and downconverting to 720p for Fox/ABC affiliates..

I was using FireFox, I switched to IE and it seems to be working now

IE has a specialized video panel while FireFox seemed to be using the default options for WindowsMedia Payer
