between the buried and me IMO because their name came from a counting crows song and not just some cliche name involving death, blood, etc like all the other "core" bands. yes it has those elements but i kinda liked where it came from.

i always liked deftones and incubus too. simple but i thought they fit their respective sounds for some reason.

Sex Pistols, Velvet Underground, Quiet Riot are great. As I Lay Dying hinges on whether or not they know it's a Faulkner novel, but they kinda suck the large one either way. Knowledge Is For Fools and the Olympic Ass-Kicking Team are great local band names, and the Cromwell Initiative may be the worst local band name I've ever heard.
