Because some of Rammstein's earlier work would create an unfounded prejudice in many of the people here that would prevent them from appreciating the parts of their work that are rather good.

Yeah, if you get a hold of translations of their lyrics, they're awful for the most part. But if you're listening for music just for the lyrics, then you're missing out on a lot of enjoyable stuff. Anyway, I (as a very peculiar and prejudiced music listener myself) think that Rammstein does have many songs that are enjoyable on a musical level. A few of their songs even have good lyrics.

Either way, if you listen to music looking for a reason to like it, rather than a reason to hate it... you'll be much happier.
