People are going crazy. Having an option that you can turn on and off is not a security hole. I've had that option turned off since I got my computer almost 4 years ago.

Even if you count it, that brings us to, what, 1:100000 virus ratio?

They need to release a new version 10.4.5.1 or something that disables that option by default, because you know very few people are going to do so

I didn't suggest otherwise. Most of the Mac users on TWW are pretty savvy. Direct your stereotypes elsewhere.
