You know fucking what? I'm fucking tired of having off nights when we play Carolina. I'm fucking tired of losing to a carolina team we're supposed to win in every goddam sport. This is the national championship for us. This game is important to anyone who has had carolina hatred bred in them since birth. I'm tired of losing to them. Yes, I will come down on the football/basketball team when we lose games WE'RE SUPPOSED TO WIN. If Carolina were ranked #1 (see: last year) then I can at least understand a loss. But for six straight goddam times, I'm tired of losing to Carolina. I'm tired of last minute fumbles. I'm tired of touchdowns taken away in a game that was way too close anyway. I'm tired of a -20394879837 rebound ratio. I'm tired of going 0/10 from the 3 point line in the second half.

I'm just fucking tired of it.

It doesn't make me any less supportive of the team either. I hope that this is the last loss of the season. I just want to beat Carolina like we're supposed to.

I don't even know what to say. I'm so frustrated. It seems that we cannot beat a quality carolina team. It take the likes of matt daugherty to run the team into the ground before we can actually beat them. Why. Why does Carolina play it's best game against us but we cannot even summon a mediocre one against them?

Oh and I don't care if our team went 28 - 2 the entire season with 2 losses to Carolina and a National Championship win. It's unacceptable. There are no excuses.

Our basketball team has got to take he mentality that this IS the game. We're not gonna be winning ACC or NCAA championships any time soon, so if you're gonna be a mediocre team, at least beat, or better yet, compete with your rival team. This is a good UNC team, even though they're young, but god damn, they're not that good.

We weren't playing to win. We were praying that we wouldn't lose. We were unconfident, scared shitless, and fell apart becuase when our shots aren't falling and they're guarding the 3 we have no fucking clue what to do with ourselves.

I can almost rationalize the loss against Carolina in football. With so many of our recruits from Florida, they're more hyped to play Florida St. and Miami than North Carolina (which is why we're always competitive against Florida St., but lose really shitty games against UNC). But this rivalry, this basketball rivalry, the oldest on Tobacco Road, why can we not at least come out and PLAY A DECENT GODDAM GAME? WHY?
