I can't see us winning more than 1 ACC game and 2 NCAA games (of course, not knowing who the matchups would be against at this point). I don't think it's possible for us to make it any farther considering our completel lack of rebounding ability. I realize we're not a "crash the boards" team, but it drives me insane when we never have a single person inside the 3-point line to rebound on a 3-point attempt. Our guys just start running back on defense, conceding any offensive rebound opportunity.

I'm also worried about our ability to deal with a full-court press (if somebody chooses to do it against us). I think it was the FSU game where they pressed the second half and we did an awful job trying to go through it.

Last, I don't think Herb is capable of making a good gameplan. As pointed out in other threads, Cedric could have taken Hansbrough to school in the post last night, but we kept playing him up by the free throw line. For some reason, Sendek didn't "change" the gameplan to get Simmons the ball in the paint. I think that's inexcusable, and shows that Herb won't be able to do a good job making in-game adjustments.

if by halftime adjustments you mean your team stops making shots for 8 minute stretches in the 2nd half while totally forgetting about any inside game then yes I agree

Well I will admit this is Herb's weakest link right here. We were up 18 on V Tech and came out flat in the 2nd half and nearly blew it. Clemson was almost the same way.

I was at both of those games BTW.

With about 15 minutes to go in the VT we got out of our normal offense and just tried to kill the clock. The problem was that we weren't able to get any good shots when we "played offense" for 10 seconds. We should have just run our normal offense, which normally runs 20-25 seconds off the shot clock each time anyway, and if we had done that, we might have made some more baskets.
