I wouldn't be surprised if they are true... most large corporations in the world would do anything, including mass murder if: 1) it helps their profits, and 2) they can get away with it.

BUENOS AIRES — The Ford Motor Company is being accused of some very grave human-rights violations by former workers in Argentina.
In a lawsuit that seeks monetary damages and a public apology from Ford Argentina and the Ford Motor Company, the workers claim members of the Argentine military kidnapped 24 workers from inside a Ford plant in General Pacheco, near Buenos Aires. They allege that Ford company vehicles were then used to transport them to a detention center where they were tortured. The abuses were allegedly part of a plan by Ford to break up union activity, and they allegedly took place in 1976, when Argentina was under a military government.
BBC News is reporting that several foreign companies have told Argentina's truth commission, which investigates abuses of that era of military rule, that union members were abducted during the period. As part of the lawsuit, four former executives with Ford are to be questioned, the news service reports. Ford has not made any comment but reportedly has denied such allegations in the past." |
