the title is from NY for my r6. the lady at the bank said there was no spot to notorize it. so i had the original owner sign his name and address etc etc on it. i havent signed it yet. im going to wait till i get to the dmv.

is this the right move, does nc get gay bout ny titles? I just dont want any surprises when I go later this week.

Maybe Ivan will chime in here, but I think he had the same experiance with a VA title. He had no problem transfering it without a nortary seal, because VA doesn't require one.

i just recently (2 days ago) transferred a title from NJ to NC.

the title did not have to be notarized, just fill out all the appropriate info

the title application will have to be notarized. they can do that at the DMV (at south hills) but it is $5 and you have to pay cash for that (i had to go to the atm..)

I just transferred a bike title from DE to NC. All I did was have the seller fill out the info on the back of the DE title (name, address, miles on vehicle) and I filled out the buyer shit on the back. I also would suggest to create a Bill of Sale.

I took the title to DMV shortly after and had NO problems at all. I got my license plate same day and new NC title will come in the mail.

nc is one of the few states that requires a title to be notarized. if you are transferring a title from a state that doesn't require notarization, just take it to dmv. they might try to hassle you about that it should be notarized anyway, but just tell them to stfu. it does NOT have to be.
