if you need a multiplayer fix though you gotta go recon. personally i plan to get oblivion and not (at least not right away) GR.

from what i've heard/read, it sounds like ghost recon's selling point is multiplayer. if you want to play a game with friends and play online, go with GR. i've heard the single player isn't very long. if you want a game you can get a lot of playing time out of on your own, go with elder scrolls. i don't think that even has a multiplayer option, but i could be wrong.

so it depends on whether you're goin for a good single player or multiplayer

Oblivion looks really good, if you are into RPGs get that. Its really big, but not NEARLY has big as the previous one on Xbox. I am sure there will be some kind of multiplayer/downloadable content feature available.

If you are into FPSes get Ghost Recon, however its not a UT type FPS, its a more strategic type FPS. It looks awesome though, I might reserve that and pick it up after spring break.

they said in the preview the xbox one was equivalent to 9 square miles. the new one is 16 square miles, but at least you can buy a horse.

It will be much larger not smaller than the previous one, but it will feature a fast travel system so you can automatically go back to anywhere you've already been, so it won't involve so much "turn on auto-run... wait... wait... wait... avoid monster... wait."

Also, there will be no multiplayer, but yes there will be additional downloadable content.

I hated the travel so much in morrowind that I just started using the console to teleport myself to each town, then hte game was actually fun and entertaining.

Which is why the implemented fast travel in this one. you basically have that console teleport ability without cheating.

Not really. Each game in the elder scrolls series has played fairly differently from the one before with the exception that they're all primarily first person.

Indeed, all the freedom of morrowind without nearly the headache? Beautiful and detailed sandbox of a world? Actually innovative quests (look up the painting quest if you want to spoil it)? The thing will destory many people.

Game is sweet, great graphics, travel system is nice, and combat, while still simplistic, it way more awesome than Morrowind.

I played Elder scrolls for like 4 hours this afternoon. Smooth play so far. I need to work on that damn sword play. Ive never played any of the other games before so im tryin to get use to all the different screens. I think Im still on the dang tutorial phase in the chambers below the castle

been playing now for a bit, i love the small but important differences from morrowind. im chilling in the town south of where you get out of prison doing some side quests. having everyone talk is nice too if you are feeling lazy. playing the theifz!!! sneak attack arrow.
