So I just got my laptop back from a warranty repair, and in the start bar where it says your name, it says, test

it also says test's Documents

How can i change that to my name without having to reinstall windows

start->control panel->user accounts->test->change my name

why? He asked a very straightforward question, I gave the simple answer. Hows he gonna google for that shit, when some dipshit repair guy did it in the first place?

nah, i agree, there are a lot of names that can be changed on xp - computer name, username, etc.

i have no sympathy though lol
