chipped vertebra and a concussion but no paralysis. If she was doing that shit while she was paralyzed from the waist down I would wonder what the fuck is wrong with her. But apparently she did it to calm her squad down and let people know she was ok.

yeah cause she looked pretty fucking great with her head in that clamp and then not being able to move her lower body.

and yet it would be reminiscent to me of the guy in texas chainsaw massacre kicking his legs around after taking a hammer to the head.

maybe its just me, but i found her cheering in the neckbrace to be disturbing.

Its obvious by the faces that those around her are making. They are like WTF , just give the thumbs up and relax bitch.

^ I completely agree. If you're in a halo, there's a reason for it: DON'T MOVE.

no problem jdman
i looked around and couldnt find a copy of it, sorry

she hit her head pretty bad and i thought it was cool of her to continue to cheer while being carried off. the fall was scary and im sure her family was really worried so i dont blame her although she may have injured herself worse.

I know they had her in a neck brace and strapped down, but I cant imagine anything good came from her swinging her arms around, even the least little movement in her neck or back could have fucked her up more.

But what utility resulted from her arms swinging? And is that utility greater than the utility lost due to her injury?

WOW

I DIDN'T REALIZE WE HAD A DOCTOR HERE IN THE SPORTS TALK SECTION

seriously
what evidence do you have to say that

Simple first aid training will tell you not to move anyone suspected of having a neck injury. The risk is that you'll damage the spinal cord. Swinging her arms around could potentially cause some damage.

It doesn't take a doctor to know that.

well i worked in rescue for over 5 years and was a certified EMT
so i can say from a year of school and 5 years in the field that his statement was true

im surprised that the ems people didnt shit a brick when she started doing that.

or maybe they didnt know what they were doing. Maybe they were caught up in the moment...hell, maybe they didnt see her...but thats not the point.

the point is...you are not suppose to move if you have a head or neck injury and you are not to move even if it appears to be minimal injuries b/c you cant see inside the spine. why do you think they call them Spine Boards?

if you have never worked in emergency medicine...dont make comments like you know what you are talking about

I laughed my ass off at that video. It's like someone forgot to flip her "off" switch.

Now this is impressive:
