Can someone please lay out in a general manner the process of buying the motorcycle from a private party (title transfer) and getting it titled with a tag in NC?

same way you do a car, get them to sign and have the title notarized, then take it in, with proof of your insurance to register it, and they will give you a registration card and mail the title to you
