It is a good idea for people who live in close quartes within a metropolitain area. However, rent in downtown areas for the amount of space you get is already astronomical. Only the rich will be able to afford it. Once you get outside of the city this is pretty much a worthless idea.

^^ i would think the elevator would be quicker than driving circles down the parking deck

it might work one day when we have to build up rather than out everywhere, but i don't see it being viable in the near future
