ARE YOU ASKING IF WE'VE HEARD OF ATI'S EQUIVALENT OF SLi?

YOU'RE ASKING THE GEEKS OF NCSTATE, IF THEY'VE HEARD OF A MAJOR TECHNOLOGY THAT'S BEEN OUT FOR MONTHS?

HELL, I WONDER IF TECH TALK HAS EVER HEARD ABOUT THIS NEW THING, I THINK IT'S CALLED "DDR" MEMORY. I'D REALLY LIKE SOME INPUT ON THE NEW "DDR" MEMORY.

Unless you just have a crap load of money to spend, and can't think of anything better to spend it on.

Translation:
"Hur Hur Hur I'm a tech geek, but because I think I'm better than you I'm going to mock you when I don't have anything better to say. Sit the fuck down.

For everyone else, I'm trying to figure out if a dual video card be it SLi or crossfire is worth the money OR if a single video card will do me good. Thoughts? Opinions?

Do some research. Plenty of web sites have access first hand to this equipment and do the testing. Someone here might can rehash the conclusions for you, but you're gonna get better mileage by doing the research yourself.

^ Yeah, but it was still unnecessary and a dickhead thing to do...but that's typical for Granite(no)balls.

Actually, not. the x1900 is absolutely the same performance across the board. And you bought a video card with the word "Extreme" as part of the model name. Hahahahah.

Actually the x1900 has the same performand across the board as the 7900 GTX.

ATI and NVIDIA are nearly tied right now on their flagship hards

But both of those cards are better, and more expensive, than the one I got.

The 7900 GT is around $300 and as of now ATI has nothing in that pricerange tha will compete.

And I got the one I did because the others were sold out, and this one has a good clock speed to price ratio.

At least there is an E in Extreme.
