I am thinking about buying one. Does anyone know anything about them? I just need a car to take me to and from work and one to drive dogs all over NC.

I'm not a huge fan of them, IMO they look pretty ugly.

But perhaps it's just a matter of function over form. Plus they are a Honda so they are going to be a reliable safe car.

Easy questions, easy answers.

Yes, it's fine. It'll hold up fine. It's utilitarian, but not utility-based.

They're hideous, but they work.

I'd drive one if they were cheap. But they're not yet.

i about bought one myself a while back. i LOVE them. but then again, i like boxy cars. i loved all the room they offered - the fold up seats, huge "trunk" area. i liked the way the doors opened out. the interior is super as far as dirt/cleaning/etc. and it has an accord engine and gas mileage.

if i recall.... car and driver compared the element, scion xb(?), pt cruiser, and the chevy hh something either last month or the one/two before. might be worth a look.
