Tommy Burrelson has ZERO influence on whether or not Herb Sendek is our coach or not. He also doesn't have enough influence to make any difference in fans and other media people.

All his comment does is make people who already want Herb gone say to themselves, "see, even good 'ol Tommy wants Herb gone."

Whether or not Herb leaves is up to the AD, Wendell Murphy, and Herb Sendek himself. If we lose today, then you (and everyone else who wants Herb gone) has all the right in the world to launch a full out attack on Herb Sendek and hope that it makes him want to leave. Because right now that's the only way he is leaving.

Does Tommy give 1/1000th of the money to the program that Wendell Murphy does??

Does Tommy hold a position in our administration that would allow him to influence Herb Sendek's job status??

Bottom line is that the AD and big donors are the people who decide whether or not the coach stays or goes. Both are satisfied with Herb Sendek right now. Tommy Burrelson is not going to change the minds or our big donors or our AD. And I doubt Herb Sendek is going to say to himself..."well shit, 'ol Tommy doesn't think I should be here anymore, I guess I should pack my bags and leave."

I haven't even read any news articles on his comments. Newsflash...nobody who can do anything about Herb Sendek's job status at NC State gives a flying fuck about what Tommy Burrelson has to say.
