like most luxury cars, people dont want like 10 different owners. plus, after a while, the "luxury" is gone from the car.

they dont break

but when they do, its like any other luxury car, expensive to fix and most likely would need a mechanic.

you just gotta take care of it like any other car, and getting a car with lotta miles is kinda asking for it.

MB/BMW have lots of aftermarket replacement parts. i swapped out my moms window regulator. it cost around [i think]$160 or so. from factory was like $300. i dont remember exact prices, but you can always stear clear of the most expensive parts.

like on BMWs. pads from the dealer cost say around $100, you can pick up a set for around $50-60 from autozone.

yah, i was just wondering

there are E55's all around here in sc so it got me looking to see what they go for

2000 e55 with average milage is like mid 20's, but was 70 new

dont get brake pads from autozone! good pads can be had for $40.

H8R the big drop in value is probably because the '03's and newer had the 5.5 supercharged engine with 469 HP and 516 torque. the pre 2003's had the like 350 horse engine. The 2000's are probably just not in demand because the newer ones have so much more hp. just my opinion.

yah, the 03's are still like 50 G's

349 hp would still do though for gettin groceries
