Main guy had to have done something else to the chair, something he wasnt sure was going to work but he has to leave it up to "faith", hence the flashback. Or maybe he just burns.

I'm starting to think this show is going to be perpetually like the X-files was towards then end. Always a teasing at explaining the consipiracy but never really bothering to do it... its getting harder every week to see how this show will be at all interesting once the prison is out of the picture. Maybe that's the role of the son. Get him into trouble then the next season can be about building a tunnel to get him out of death row.

I agree. The 'inside the prison' parts are getting too predictable now. The guy that was helping Veronica... seemed a decent man, too bad for that double execution.
