I liked it...but it wasn't a great movie.

However, it was worth seeing in the movie theaters, so it is definitely worth renting. I'm torn on buying it....I buy a shitload of DVDs, but I don't think this is worth a purchase...but it's close (I do like Clive Owen and Jennifer Anniston).

Eh...I'm a collector. I don't buy DVDs just to rewatch them. I also buy DVDs to add to my "collection" of good movies.

The "main" plot twist was predictable but to answer your question statefan24, Clive Owen is as badass in this as he was in Sin City. It is a different type of badass though. In Sin City, it was kind of spread out badassness, but in Derailed, there is this one part when there is just concentrated badassness. Anyone who saw it knows exactly what part I am talking about.

Jennifer Anniston definitely made the movie better. People who don't think she's hot are just dumb...and not a bad actor either.

And Clive Owen definitely got bad at times during the movie. He's slowly becoming one of my favorite actors (Closer, King Arthur, Derailed, etc...).
