yes i did pick this guy up from ashbabe83 about 1 month ago for free. i took "her" to the vet bc "she" looked awfully skinny to get tested for parasites and a general check up. turns out it's a boy.. i saw the sack and i was assuming that..

vet bill cost 75 and he is parasite free (after fecal matter analysis). i have been feeding him meal worms every other day and he has just shed last week and started to grow a lot more. he's at a healthy weight right now.

the reason that I am parting with him is because my ra is being a dick about me keeping pets in my dorm...

cool pet will chill on you're shoulder for hours, We named him Walter.

comes with 10 gallon tank, sandy substrate, water bowl, hide log, heat pad.

40 dollars. located in bowen.

thanks

that's kind of a douchebag thing to do though. volunteer to take someones pet for free, say you'll give it back if it doesn't work out, then sell him? no. she might pay for the vet bill though, if the animal was really taken there or whatnot.

Well, she did GIVE it to him. If she wanted it so bad, why didn't she just keep it to begin with?

and uh whats your suggestion?? mealworms and superworms are great for leo's...they are pretty much nutritionally superior to crickets

It's what I fed mine. Especially good with the vitamin powder. I know they're too high in fat for hedgehogs though. Depends on the species.

im glad i didnt sell you one of my geckos...thats the kind of shit that makes me wary of selling anything ive got to anyone.

all i can say is you shoulda gotten that shit cleared with your RA prior to taking it. it's not news that fish are just about the only animal youre allowed to keep in a dorm...although i did know one person who kept a cat for a while, and another who actually kept a duck in his room back in the day

never had a prob with my snakes in the room, nor did my other ra...but for some reason the gecko pissed him off. prob bc he thinks the snakes are empty cages and the gecko is a lil more visible

they let a friend of mine keep a pacman frog in bragaw due to the fact it was semi aquatic.....so that may be an option for you ppl that dont want fish...so check into it fuckers

I kept a hamster in my room on the basis that it was old and dying and I wanted it to spend its last days with me. Fucker lived three years after that.

Funny all the stupid criticism I got here...I did what was best for the gecko...I had to relocate to CA and moving a gecko used to an NC climate to CA climate is no good...not to mention the free and verbal agreement was only if I could find a good home, which I believe I did...my family would have taken him except that he wouldnt have been as much appreciated there as if I could find a reptile lover...more than anything else, I wanted a permanent home so he wouldnt get passed around...which is why I wanted my parents to take him if it didnt work out with the first home...having a quiet, permanent home is better than being passed around...

As for the comment on my sucking at caring for a life other than my own, I am not usually easily offended by trollers, but thats just fucked up...my dog was born premature, weaned too early, I was told she wouldnt live, and somehow she's here today and happy with me in CA...not to mention the other dogs I have fostered and saved...so kiss my butt Thats a horrible thing to say about anyone.
