simple as that. i don't know how to convert a word document into a .pdf file.

pdf factory pro is the simplest thing I've found.. it installs as a printer, so go to print out a page and select pdffactorypro from your printer list, click print and it generates a PDF which you can then save. Anything that you can print you can generate a pdf out of..

that link goes to a chass site, but my unity login worked fine.. assuming you're still at State..

there are plugins for word as well.. and openoffice has the option built in
