it stars Rob Schneider, David Spade, and Napolean Dynamite 2.0. that's as insightful a review you should ever need for Benchwarmers.

Nick Swardson has a writing credit on it... so it could be something. Probably not an awful lot, though.

He wrote Grandma's Boy and Malibu's Most Wanted. What, exactly, are you expecting out of him?

Just finished screening this. was much better than i was expecting. i actually found it really, really funny. especially if you are a nerd like myself, some awesome "cameos" and just general nerd paraphenalia. all around, very enjoyable and funny

^^Grandma's Boy was funnier than Wedding Crashers...that is a VASTLY overlooked comedy in my opinion

i heard through the grapevine that kid rock is having a private screening of benchwarmers after his show in raleigh (at raleigh grande)...may just be rumors though

Wedding Crashers > Grandma's Boy > The Benchwarmers

I really like the Wedding Crashers, and I really liked Grandma's Boy, and I thought The Benchwarmers was pretty funny. I really think they may have ruined some of the stuff from the trailers, but at the same time, I laughed at a lot of the random violence from the trailers.

When I heard about The Benchwarmers I thought it had a good possibility to be an hilarious movie but wasn't sure about the cast selected. But after seeing it last night, it was pretty funny.

And if you're a Star Wars fan or into random old Sci-Fi shows, just seeing the house in the movie should make you want to see it. That house had more impressive Star Wars memoribilia than I've ever seen in one house, haha. I was suprised by all of the references they made and stuff, but after seeing Grandma's Boy I should have expected it.

based on saying you like a movie with Spade and Schneider... I veto your ability to comment on movies

I've never been a Schneider fan, but I have liked a few of Spade's movies.

Off the top of my head:
PCU
Tommy Boy
Black Sheep
Joe Dirt

And if you don't like those movies, then you probably aren't a fan of comedy movies, hence you should probably get out of this topic based on a comedy movie.

And this is the first movie I've enjoyed that Schneider has had a significant role in.

I said it was good, not great. Meaning I'll catch it when it comes on TV, not buy the DVD. But if you're looking for a solid laugh(and don't want to see a bunch of little alien things) then this is a pretty good one to check out.

They had a lot of things in common, but both are funny in their own right. And Spade was good in both of them.

I was trying to say that though as of late Spade has sucked, he has had some comedy hits in the past.

You didn't mention Heder, and I actually liked him the least in this movie. Schneider and Spade do a pretty good job, I really wasn't expecting much out of Schneider though so maybe that's why I thought he did a good job.
