What top of the line games are you talking about? Did it run half - life 2 well? i assumed it would since it came with a copy of it, but let me know if you tried running doom 3 or quake 4 and had problems.

By "top of the line" I mean Oblivion, which is as new as it gets. It still runs the game, just on low settings. Ran Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 very well, never played Quake 4.

Doom 3 prolly wouldn't be playable at anything above 800x600 on that with low settings cause that game is very taxing even on new cards. Half-Life 2 is more cpu intensive so it would run better.

if n e one wants drivers for the 9600xt to overclock it pm me and btw ive played doom 3 on my 9600xt overclocked on medium settings and i only have an athlon 2600 processor. just an fyi, they can be bad ass vid cards if u overclock em... just not too much
