uhm..... two 20-30lb weights will not get you in shape. Put down the mcnuggets and the double cheeseburger, sign up for a gym (or go to your college gym), run 30 mins a day, lift weights 45 mins a day, 125 sit ups per day, drink lots of water, no fatty foods or candy

$$

Already doing all that (well, 'cept that I do 200 situps a day, not 125, and I do stationary bike instead of running).

I just would like smaller set at home for when I'm watching TV or working on homework.

This is the classifieds forum, btw - not health advice - but thanks for the input.

hey dumbass...

I refer you to the threat title:

WTB: Free weights

WTB means "Want to Buy." For someone with over 14,000 posts I'm surprised you don't know what that means yet.

Oh, and thank you - I am indeed a newbie to this whole "healthy lifestyle" thing, so I obviously did not know the proper name. Sue me. Gotta start somewhere.

...

What?

I "want to buy" some "dumbells" which I had previously (and erroneously) refered to as "free weights," as in weights that are not attached to a machine (ergo, are free), because that is what I had heard several people refer to them as, though again, they were apparently wrong according to UJustWait.

For crying out loud, people...

SO

Now that that's cleared up.

I would like to buy a set of dumbells. Does anyone have any to sell?
