The problem I have is with UNC "priding itself on academic integrity" all-the-while having two basketball players who came to UNC straight out of high-school and being at least one year older, and in some cases two years older than normal freshmen.

Copeland and Hansbrough didn't go to Junior College. They didn't go to prep school. They came from high school. That speaks to their academic record. It has been said that Copeland just passed Algebra 1B in September!

The problem I have is that the media's goldenchild has been compared to FRESHMEN all year, when in reality he's a good year-and-a-half older than them, if not two years older. He's NOT A FRESHMAN.

My friends birthday is 7-19-85, hansbroughs is 11-03-85... he left north johnston and went to Greenfield in 8th grade, and redid the 8th grade year there to play all 4 years in high school on varsity... Greenfield won 3 state championships while he was there and he is now a soph at wilmington and could have walked on... hes 4 months older and just a year ahead of hansbrough, so this thing isnt that uncommon

except if they won the ACC tournament they wouldnt get a 16 seed. When we had to win the tournament in '83 just to get to the NCAA we got a 6 seed.
