the scene where the bad guy's helicopter is bound to the cliff by a chain and it drops with sly hanging on the chain just like neo

but seriously that is almost line by line

and it also reminds me alot of "Dark City"

guy living in a world controled by strange people who change stuff
then he wakes up one day, and he has special powers, and changes stuff and free's people

but then again alot of movies and stories can be like this
