Same phone number keeps calling my girlfriend's phone # from Alltel, but ALSO her dad AND her sister's cell phones, too. All are Wilson based Alltel numbers.

We set the person's number to silent so that helps, but the person leaves almost 30 voicemails at a time with weird noises and saying FUCK all the time.

The number is 313 400 5568
FUCK THEM UP!

I did a reverse lookup, but it just shows it's a cell phone (Cellco Verizon) from Detroit, MI ... but that's all I can find on that number.

We called both providers, both won't do anything. Filing a police report will be pointless as they'll do NOTHING and it's not life threatening, but it IS harrassment, which is defined as explicit in law.

Anyone know what I can do? Any lists online I can put their number so they'll get tons of phone calls? Anyone want to pwn them?

called and posed as a Verizon Wirless customer service representative named Paul. He's not too bright, he believed me. Talked to him for 15 minutes and he was very odd.

Seems like this guy is some construction worker outside of Detroit and he got his phone from some bad dealer that probably takes old recycled phones that still have numbers in them and re-selling them cheap.

Said he would take his phone in to the store and then to Verizon to explain the situation and get it resolved. I told him I would contact him in a few days to check up on the matter, so maybe he gets scared and stops if he knows what he's doing, or he gets it resolved from Verizon if he's unaware of his doings.

His calls sound like it's accidental calls from construction sites and that's what you hear in the background.

His name is Steve (Stephen) Shephard (sp?) and seemed 30-50 years old (all i could determine).

I also told him the police were getting involved in the situation and he seemed to get scared. I said they would not continue the investigation if we resolved the matter on our end. He seemed pleased with that.

Guess we'll find out if he keeps calling or not

Yeah, one time I was sitting in class and I got this phone call from some number in Atlanta. The dude left a message saying something like this:

"Hey Jacob [my name's not Jacob], just wanted to let you know that i've gotten a ladder, so we can go ahead and take care of those skylights. I was talking to my wife during lunch today, and man, things ain't going that good, ever since I stopped drinking. Anyway, give me a call back so we can finish up them skylights."

one time a woman left a message about "not being able to close a deal and have (the person she was trying to call) to call her back asap"

i called her up and told her her message didn't get through and she appreciated it

being nice is always a good thing

heh, I've had one of those. Some dude left me a message somehow thinking I was a lawyer. I was kinda lost on that one, since he actually *did* leave the message on my cell phone, as he says in the msg. Go figure.

Kinda ironic that I just got a call from someone in Raleigh earlier asking me why I had her cousin's cell phone.

There used to be some regulation that requires a Telecom to wait 90 days before recycling a number. I don't know what happened to that.

My roommate experienced the same thing and it seems he got a drug dealers number.

"Hey can I score?"
"Fuck no, this sound like a football game?"

"Dood you got any stuff?"
"Sure I got stuff... IN MY PANTS!"

etc...
