You think our campus is a reason he might stay with us??? And you went to school here for 4 years??

He wants to play in the ACC?? You know Maryland was after him. They've had a few good point guards play there. And who's to say Duke and/or UNC won't go after him now?? And why wouldn't he want to play for 'Nova and play in the Big East...which is the best conference in the country right now anyways.

And nobody's saying he'll follow Herb. I actually doubt he would. No one wants to go to ASU.

I don't know that he is coming here, I'm guessing he will. Pure speculation like all of you are doing.

I just know that I'd take NC State with a fresh start minus Herb over watching Wright underdevelop with Herb. I don't need Scooter Sherrill deja vu.

Oh, and by the way, Philip Rivers kept his committment after we canned O'Cain. It does happen.

I'll support next year's coach. I've always supported our coaches. The only coach I really didn't like was MOC...but I still supported him. Actually...I hated Avent too, but that's because I had a couple friends on the baseball team who hated him.

And I'll say to you...don't support next year's coach just because he's not Sendek. If he sucks...he sucks. He'll have loads of talent, so we better not fuck around with not making the tourney.

Almost no one in the last 20-30 years has been hired as a head coach from a major program. THose that were pretty much exclusively involved big names "returning home" type situations. There have been breakdowns of this on PackPride before and the overwhelming majority of coaches come from mid-majors throughout the ACC.
