I read blurbs from it but can someone post it all? He sort of sounded 50/50 on whether or not he would stay committed (but won't make a decision until we find new coach) from what I could tell..
If someone could post it all it would be much appreciated..

"It was a big shock to be honest with you," Mr. Davis said. "It was disappointing. We were really looking forward to being under Herb's care for the next four years. I guess he has to do what is best for him."
Mr. Davis expects his son to talk with the new North Carolina State head coach and evaluate his options after doing so.
"I think he's going to wait and see who North Carolina State brings in," Davis said. "If you're committing yourself to the school and the person recruiting you, when he leaves a lot of things run through your mind.

He signed a LOI, either he would sit out a year and go to another school, or he would have to play D2. Odds are hes coming, id say almost 100 percent. 4/2/2006 2:05:07 PM |

Quote : | "NC State signee Larry Davis talks with Pack Pride about Herb Sendek's decision to go to Arizona State.
Queens (NY) Christ The King star Larry Davis was watching the Final Four Saturday night when he first heard the news, Herb Sendek had accepted the head coaching position at Arizona State.
"I first heard the rumor on the TV," Davis said. "When I heard I was surprised, and last night coach Sendek called to talk to me and my family. He said it was something he had to do and for the best.
"I just wished him the best of luck and asked him if he knew who the new coach was going to be. He said he didn't know that yet. I'm just concerned about who the new coach is going to be at North Carolina State."
Davis remains in a state of shock, as he repeatedly stated he never expected this to happen.
"I'm going to take every day one at a time," he said. "I truthfully don't know what will happen."
Davis' father, Larry Davis Sr., also was shocked when he heard that Sendek was leaving NC State.

I wouldnt, cuz now the new coach might realize just how much athletic potential these kids have
Fells will be NASTY in a fast and athletic offense...which we hopefully get with the new guy
had a dream last night by the way that as the team entered the RBC center next year the team came in to a cheer and then the new coach walked in and the place went nuts...absolutely the loudest it has been...maybe a sign of things to come

Becuase if we didn't, our head coach would catch hell from every H.S. head coach in that kids area and never be allowed to recruit there again 4/2/2006 4:11:06 PM |

Dan Werner article:
Quote : | "Werner Will Be Patient
By: James Henderson Pack Pride Date: Apr 2, 2006
Lincroft (NJ) Christian Brothers Academy star Dan Werner wasn't too surprised when he heard the news that Herb Sendek was headed to Arizona State.
Lincroft (NJ) Christian Brothers Academy star Dan Werner wasn't too surprised when he heard the news that Herb Sendek was headed to Arizona State.
Werner, who followed NC State this season on the Internet, was aware of the recent development and pointed out that coach Sendek was very apologetic when he called to inform him of his decision.
"Coach Sendek was apologizing and stuff, but I understand he has to do what's best for his family," Werner said. "He really wanted to get a chance to coach me and thinks I'll be a really good player."
Werner, who was NC State's first commitment in the '06 class, verbaled to the Wolfpack because he wanted to play for coach Sendek and in the offensive system he utilizes.
"One big thing with NC State was the style of play," said Werner. "I like everything about NC State, and I definitely want to go to NC State, but it all depends on who they bring in.
"I'm not the type of guy that can play in any type of system. I have to play a certain way to reach my potential."
In what was labeled a "rebuilding year" at the beginning of the season, Werner led CBA to a stellar 27-2 record. The 6-foot-8 forward was the only returning starter from last year's 26-3 squad, but CBA went on to capture its 14th Shore Conference title and 14th NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public A title under legendary head coach Ed Wicelinski. Werner's tenure at CBA produced a 93-18 record, including a 53-5 mark over the past two seasons.
Werner was recently named 2006 Associated Press New Jersey State Player of the Year, first-team AP All-State, and the 2006 MSG Network/Daily News Tri-State Player of the Year. The award is given annually to the best basketball player in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
His huge senior season could lead to increased interest from other programs should he become available, as he chose the Wolfpack over West Virginia, Notre Dame, Rutgers, and St. Joe's among others.
According to his father, Ron Werner, Dan has a decision to make and will explore all of his available options.
"My son had 20 to 30 offers and his decision was based solely on coach Sendek," Mr. Werner said. "It was all Sendek. His program, his style of play, that was everything that went into Dan's decision.
"It came down to West Virginia and NC State. We just thought that coach Sendek, with the facilities he had, was going to be there for the long haul.
"It's just tough, it's just a tough pill to swallow.
"I was just on the phone with Danny's high school coach. We really can't do anything until we see who is hired. We're meeting on Tuesday to discuss this some more. At this point, we plan to see who the new coach is, but with Danny it has to be the right fit."
Like Dan, Mr. Werner also had a chance to talk with coach Sendek last night, and he mentioned that the former NC State head coach encouraged them to wait and see who the Wolfpack hires before choosing to go in another direction.
"I talked with coach Sendek, and he said sit back and wait," Mr. Werner said. "He said NC State is a great institution and has a great basketball program. He apologized six or seven times to me on the phone, and I understand where he's coming from because he has to look out for him and his family.
"I honestly hope that they bring the right guy in because I should have two kids going there. My daughter is heading down there this year too. I hope the situation works out and the other players stay."

I was reading the NYC papers this morning and didn't expect to see this in the Sports section. Nothing much but interesting that a big paper like the Post would report on this kid even though CTK is in the city..
Quote : | "April 3, 2006 -- Larry Davis, Sr., heard over the weekend that there was a chance that Herb Sendek might leave N.C. State for Arizona State. "We hoped they were just rumblings," said Davis, whose son, Larry Jr., is a senior at Christ the King and signed to play for the Wolfpack next year. "It was stunning when we got the call."
Sendek called Davis on Saturday night to tell him that he was leaving and now the elder Davis isn't sure where his son will go. He put the odds that the 6-2 guard would end up at N.C. State as "50-50."
"All things happen for a reason," Davis, Jr., said. "I want to see what they do. Right now, I don't know what my future is with N.C. State."
N.C. State would have to release Davis from his letter of intent for him to be able to go anywhere else without missing a season.
