Well that isn't true, as soon as the job opened up, there is no coach we would hire over Ricky, and if he knew he wanted to come we could have already be working with him. It's a very outside chance, but possible.

Whatever Barnes record overall/against so-and-so/ you have to appreciate that he has won titles in his conference, maintained a top 10 ranking, recruited in the top 5 year in and year out, and went deep a couple times in the NCAA's

this would give us a big dog in the fight, and I honestly don't know much about barnes personally, but as far as the national media goes we would no longer be overlooked for fluff pieces on the two blue schools, this would give us the same type of artillery and national credibility!

i would be pumped up for this hire, and i think the students and fans would be too!
