Best advice to give you for Bhattari's tests is to study your notes and the book. Look back on the Syllabus to get the chapters and you should be fine.

For Bhattarai's class, I just used the class time as a time to show up...and read the book in class. That helped me more than anything else.

The ethnography thing...I think every semester everyone is totally baffled by this assignment. I know I was, way back in the Spring 03.

you were supposed to go to an ethnic grocery store and observe and write about it. 10 pages. 1 of pictures i believe if you are so inclined.

thanks for that link, it was pretty helpful. i don't know about anyone else's paper, but mine is honestly about 3 or 4 pages of useful material, and the rest bs. what a pointless assignment.
