Sorry guys, the speakers are in my room back in Greensboro. I can get pictures tonight, just be patient. Also...

The Sony 5.25's are 70w RMS/140w peak (I think this is right)
The JBL's are 100w RMS/200w peak, these are also AMAZING sounding speakers and I will not take any less than $55. These retailed for close to $250.

Are you sure you have that model number correct? According to the JBL website, these speakers were last produced in 1988. It that is truely the case, $5.

Listed specs on JBL website:
100W RMS
4ohm
6.5" high polymer laminate
1" pure titanium dome
65Hz - 26kHz
3kHz
91dB (1 watt/1 meter)
MAGNET - 60 oz.

I could not fint the model number listed for these, so I went with the upper mid-level, and then a new model.

sony: cost new of $38
5.25 in
Design: 3-Way
Peak Power Handling: 200 Watts
RMS Power Handling: 50 Watts
Sensitivity: (what's this?) 91 db
Cone Material: Polypropylene
Surround Material: Rubber
Min Frequency Response: 40 Hz
Max Frequency Response: 30 KHz
Nominal Impedence: 4 Ohms
Top Mount Depth: 1.75 in

or the newest model: $65 from Crutchfield
» 5-1/4" 4-way car speakers
» Highly Oriented Polyolefine (H.O.P.) woofer with cloth surround
» paper balanced-dome midrange
» paper dome tweeter and PEI film dome supertweeter
» frequency response: 30-32,000 Hz
» power range: 2-45 watts RMS (220 watts peak power)
» sensitivity: 91 dB
» top-mount depth: 1-3/4"

The sony's are the newest model as far as I know. They are in perfect working order and less than a year old.

The JBL's are also is perfect working order, but I am not exactly sure how old they are. I am pretty sure they aren't from 1988, because as good as these sound I doubt they had that kind of technology then.

My dad has some JBL's from his college days and they sound just as good if not better than some of the new stuff out today... You can't go wrong with JBL's. Probably worth every bit of that 55.

The JBL titanium's are comparable to diamond audio. Incredible clarity from a co-ax. My new car has a bose system so I have no use for these anymore.

I am interested in the JBL speakers.
I just want to double-check the model #.
I looked on the JBL website and, if these speakers are T65, the LAST year that they were made was in 1988.

You can look at the speakers. I'm not sure when they were made. A friend of my dads left them in the closet at my house and I found them. Hook them up in my Grand Prix to make sure they worked and they sound AMAZING. I just can't describe it, but if you get them and they don't sound perfect(and you don't blow them) I will be glad to give you your money back. You can look at them as well if you would like before you buy them.
