I have 2 guinea pigs for sale. The mother is a reddish color and the other is pepper gray. Both pigs are less than a year old. I am willing to let them go separately but prefer them to go together. I am also willing to sell their cage, water bottle, and food bowl if someone wants both of them. It’s a large cage with plenty of room for two pigs. The only thing wrong with the cage is it has a crack on the bottom. PM me if interested or have any questions. 4/3/2006 5:01:14 PM |

so the pepper one is the offspring? hopefully it's a female as well, if they're housed together. 4/4/2006 1:01:31 PM |

yea I made sure to check what sex they were about 3 weeks after they were born.
I bought the reddish color one in late July and it turned out she was pregnant so I ended up with 3 instead of one. She had two female babies. I have taken care of them since they were born but 3 is just too many. That is why I am trying to find a good home for 2 of them.
There is a picture in my gallery. Of course the grey one is full grown now.

15 for both but if you want the cage, water bottle and food bowl I would do everything for 50 including the pigs. The cage I believe is a 50-60 gal terrarium(sp?) with a lid. 4/4/2006 10:35:57 PM |

I've always heard that guinea pigs are temperamental. What are their personalities generally like? Are they receptive to being held and played with? 4/9/2006 9:49:30 AM |

When I first got the mother pig she was sweet. She would run away from me when I would try to pick her up but once I had her I would lay on the couch and she would lay in my arms and sometimes fall asleep. But when you have more than one guinea pig they can be tempermental. This is because they are herding animals so they stick together and don't make bonds with their owner when there is more than one. 4/11/2006 12:19:12 PM |
