anyone have a good guess at who the "mystery main stage band" is going to be. I think they announce it next month.

I'm just happy to see System of a Down again.

I am pretty sure the mystery main stage will be filled by Avenged Sevenfold. That makes me kinda disappointed because "City of Evil" is

Main Stage looks kinda crappy if you ask me, I would like to see Disturbed and System of a Down traded out for some better bands (i.e. Tool).

Second Stage does look a lot more promising with Raleigh's own Between the Buried and Me on it.

Ozzfest can go fuck itself, after the way they treated Maiden last year

No idea who it'll be, but is anyone else disappointed by the lineup this year? I like System, but they definitely don't compare to the headliners of the last few years....Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Seeing Strapping Young Lad on the bill is pretty cool, although I think they should replace Hatebreed on the main stage.

I'll be at the show anyway, I work for Event One and we're going to be staffing Ozzfest.

As I mentioned earlier, I too am disappointed with the lineup this year on maine stage. Going from Slayer and Maiden to Hatebreed (good, but better for 2nd stage) and Disturbed (no comment).

It seems like Money-Hungry Sharon is just putting someone up that might not be great quality, but has had some sort of success. Yes, she will make money, but at the same time lose fans. Especially

I guess I will still go to see Second Stage, and leave after Lacuna Coil plays main stage.

System is great live. Tickets are like $45. I'm going basically just for them. They are taking a "break" after this and who knows, it might just be the last time you get to see them live.

I'll be there all day, working security.

The only band I'm interested in seeing is Strapping Young Lad.

So what time is it actually starting? Ticketmaster says gates open at 11 but ozzfest.com still has it at 9.

the setlist is up on Ozzfest.com, and it says A Live Once Lost starts playing at 10:05am. I think Ticketmaster's site is wrong. Gates should open at least at 9am.

I'm planning on being out there at 9 to get in.

A7X, Lacuna Coil, and Bleeding Through are rolling through Myrtle tonite. I'm going to be at that show. Strapping Young Lad was supposed to be here Thursday but I think the show got cancelled. I'm kind of pissed about that since Devin is supposedly going to be taking a long break from music after ozzfest.

It just isn't worth the drive up to Raleigh and the time off work to see the few bands I wanted to see.

^^^ dude, you are insane.

I'm a huge fan of disturbed and SOAD... good luck finding anyone that will agree with you about which band performed better tonight

Disturbed was ok, but sounded like the singer had a cold, just wasn't as great as i'd hoped. You could tell the tour had its effects on him.

System of a Down was amazingly good and delivered.
