what are some good groups that could provide me with information against censorship in the media and on TV?

i'm looking for any and all, but one specific example that will probably have a lot of coverage around it is obviously janet jackson's halftime peep show. have any groups put together proposals for change or opinions for or against censoring things like this?

any references are appreciated, it's for a friend who's in a journalism class. heading to google next.
