^ mcnabb is cool as fuck! he was drunk out of his mind last year.
i'll be chillin with them and their friends all weekend. aren't y'all jealous?
btw, this year is the first that the golf event will be open to the public. it's $5 and will be held at brier creek (if i remember correctly). the bowling thing is still closed to the public though. also, i heard that the televising (is that a word?) of the jimmy v golf classic will be replaced by the holt brothers golf invitational

yeah I'm volunteering at the golf tournament on friday, should be fun. They made an appearance last night at the volunteer meeting, which I thought was pretty cool of them to do.
Plus I got a pat on the shoulder from Torry as he walked past me...but he probably just tripped and was using me to hold himself up...haha 4/5/2006 5:39:09 PM |

They were on 1090 earlier, Torry pretty much said it's time to put up or shut up!
He said something along the lines of that he's embarrassed we're not closer to a championship and that everyone is too caught in the facilities and stupid crap and they need to get back to fundamentals and discipline.
I AGREE TORRY! 4/6/2006 1:18:35 PM |

There really werent that many people there... The most I saw was like 200 or so... I think next year they want to move it to Saturday, and make it a bigger deal. 4/8/2006 12:26:48 PM |

hahaha, my manager's team won! they played with larry fitzgerald (same person they played with last year).
i had a pretty damn good time. we smoked out one of the club's kitchens (who the hell does not have a hood over their pizza ovens!?!) when we first got there. i'm acquainted with torry's manager, nick, so he got us some golf carts to ride around on. i had a good time doing that. oh, the free beer and liquor was awesome too.
donovan was drunk at the bowling/auction even on thursday, but not nearly as he was last year. i didn't see deion sanders at the golf event, but he was at the bowling/auction. there really weren't that many spectators, but that's not all that suprising consider that it was a friday and the augusta national is going on. 4/8/2006 11:26:57 PM |

I was gonna try to name the other 5 State HOF members without clicking the link. But I only got Gabriel, Ted Brown, Ritcher. Dennis Byrd and John (Jack) McDowall are the other two.
Tbh, I’d never heard of McDowall but according to his Wiki page he was known as “Spindle Legs”. Have we retired Spindle Legs’ number? 12/10/2019 2:45:26 PM |
