we placed 2nd place in prelims, only a tiny sliver of a score behind the team in first place and made it to finals tomorrow.

We did well in finals, butttttt we maintained 2nd place, which is still good though of course not what we wanted as a team. A good end to the year.

Dance team placed 3rd because they just rock
All girl cheerleaders I believe got 2nd place in the intermediate division

and in the mascot division, our good ol' Mr. Wuf is coming home as the nationals champion, so for those of ya'll who know him be sure to give him some congrats.

Did anyone actually watch the competition on CBS or ABC this past weekend? My wife and I watched because she is the cheerleading coach at the high school where we live. I thought it was pretty boring, but it was nice that we were actually better than UNC at something. Louisville took 1st place and according to my wife "they were awesome".

Mr. Wuf is the best mascot in all of sports too.

Double Post, I know, but here is a link to Mr. Wuf's skit at nationals.

The mascots send in a tape in december and get ranked. Mr. Wuf was 4th in the country after the tapes were rated, then they put together a skit to do at nationals.
