I have a roommate that has a cat. She and the cat are going to be leaving my house at some point in the next few months, not sure when. I've been wanting to get a kitten during the "kitten season" to raise here. Will there be a lot of adverse effects on my roommate's cat or the new kitten upon the seperation imposed when they moved out? 4/7/2006 12:40:57 PM |

We fostered a kitten about a year ago. Our cat and the foster kitty did bond, but our cat didn't stress when the other cat left. The cats will have to be paid extra attention after they are seperated, depending on how well they bond. Also, is the cat fixed? If not, you MAY have an issue with territory, especially if it's a male. If it is fixed, I can't say for sure, but I don't see why it would be a problem. 4/10/2006 12:35:14 AM |
