Called Will Langley up early this morning to see how things were going... ended up he had 100 (at least 4 packs of 24 each) of his signs stolen after he put them out tonight. Turned out it was Quick's people that were removing them and he managed to get pictures of one guy with literally sign in hand and his truck’s license plate. Called the cops out to get his signs back and they managed to find some in Sigma Chi’s dumpster.

Busted.

I went out to the Sigma Chi house briefly to give Will Langley a ride back to WolfVillage if he needed it (since his ride left to get more stakes and signs to replace those stolen so they could be up by morning). In the process I got a couple of pictures of Will Quick, woke up in the dead of night handing Langley one of his signs that he dug out of his dumpster. After about two weeks of having the tyvek ones bashed in, stolen and trashed by Quick’s people it’s about time someone got caught. – I don’t know all the details so I don’t want to add too much more to the all the drama until something more concrete comes in – Langley was still down at the house trying to get his stuff back when I left.


Supposedly “joking” with elections officials and bending the rules to send out emails is one thing, but in return resorting to trashing 100 of Langley’s signs on the day of elections is about as low as you can get.

maybe quick also doesn't go by those rules (langley referring to possible election committee rules violations)

Attack ads, potential rules violations, & senate/election com screwing up the first election, holding off the results while they discuss things after the election finally happened, and a run off has stretched this election cycle beyond interest. There’s always the option of not voting so the winner will have less of a mandate.

Doesn't Quick have tdub name? Maybe someone can draw his attention to this thread so he can address it

Quick stole our signs in the Court of Carolinas too.

That was at least 30 -- we found them gone this morning. It's great that his new sandwich boards just happened to be put all around the areas they're now gone from. We'll have people driving around tonight with cameras to protect the rest we put out. I checked with grounds management today and saw what they've picked up the past two weeks... only one of the repainted boards and a few broken tyvek signs, nothing in the nature of the 40-50 missing tyvek and now about 120-150 missing stake signs.

This needs to stop. We have facilities looking for our stuff and campus police keeping an eye out. If anyone sees someone pulling up signs please call the police or hit a blue light on campus to report it. No one from Langley's campaign will be pulling up signs before Wednesday.

That would be more than Will Quick has on all of campus. -- And so long as I'm working for Will Langley, as Cody and I have done, we will be running a clean campaign (or as close as it can become in 2 days). My suggestion to Will Langley has been to focus on replacing them and so far we're not doing bad at that. It is costing a ton of money and time on his part, but we're working to do what we can to fight back fair.

Did you know that a large number of Adam Compton's and Cody's signs up and disappeared as well when we picked them up the day after the election ended? Facilities didn't trash them, and where they went is a mystery. However Anita was a supporter of Quick and Cody may have been up against the same tatics (however we didn't realize it at the time until we found how much was missing in the end).

Will Langley may bend the rules in a lot of cases, but he should not (and I doubt will) be stooping that low to get back at Quick.
