Quote : | "I will be moving in the next 3 weeks and I can't take my chinchillas with me. As much as i hate to sell them, i know i can't bring them with me and with school and working, i haven't had much time to spend with them. I have the mom, dad and brother of your chinchilla. I have a beige female (Chilla) that is almost 2 1/2 years old. She is a little skittish, but will let you pet her when she gets used to you. She will take food out of your hand. She is a good breeder and usually has healthy kits. She has given birth 3 times. The first and second time, she had a single beige kit, the third time she had triplets. I have a beige male(Ralphie) who is 1 year old. He is very close with Snoopi, his father since they are housed together. Ralphie will let you pet him and is full of energy. He will also take food out of your hand. Snoopi, is a Standard, and my first chinchilla. I really hate to sell him but i know i can't take him with me or spend much time with him. He is pretty tame, he will climb all over you and he usually stands at the cage door waiting to be let out to play. I also have 2 cages. One, i purchased from a pet store, it is yellow and black and has 2 levels. The other cage is a crate(dog crate) that i got from a thrift store that i converted into a chinchilla cage by putting two ledges and a hiding house in it. I'm giving the cages away with the chinchillas. If you are looking to purchase anymore chinchillas or know someone who would like to purchase any, Please let me know. I will sell all three chins (including the 2 cages, food, dust, hay) for $200 or best offer. I will also sell them individually for $50 each. I just want them to go to a good home so i can work out any reasonable price." |

I highly recommend adopting a chinchilla; they are awesome pets! Mine loves to be petted and loves running around my room. Chinchillas have great personalities to be rodents.
I would take one if I could
