Technically you can do it now. You don't have to graduate to be an alumni. People who attend and do not graduate from state are still considered alumni. They however don't include non-degree alumni in any of the alumni databases unless that person initiates by signing up for a membership, giving a gift etc...
At one point in time the alumni association was giving out 1 yr complimentary memberships to new grads. I'm not sure if they are still doing that, but it's something to look into.
It will take a about another month or so after graduation for new grads to appear in the Advance alumni/donor database but if you want, you can start signing up for stuff right after you graduate. 4/16/2006 10:15:30 PM |
