how can this be made possible? would the constitution have to be amended? he's the Greatest president we've had in ages and times are too pivotal to go with another administration.

I hear he's hiring.

Put in an application.

You'd make an AWESOME Press Secretary.

Also, campaign heavily.

Yes, in a sense (Ronald Reagan notwithstanding).

However, President Bush is about as politically related to Barry Goldwater as Ted Kennedy is.

^ read some Ann Coulter you leftist. Bush brought more people together than ever w/in the last 6 years. He's the unifier. You should look at it from a different perspective, not from the media and Hollywood. don't let TV corrupt you.

because even the most die-hard Bush supporter wouldn't characterize him as a "unifier"...and the Ann Coulter plug doesn't win you any credibility points...and indirect comparison to Barry Goldwater is applicable only in that both men, with respect to their opposition, were polarizing figures (i.e., NOT unifiers)

pardon me DUKE, but have you seen the red states. if that's not unifying the country I don't know what is. as far as Ann Coulter, point taken she is a crazed b!tch and all, but I appreciate that she tackled the problems of liberals in the country. YES ! she's a radical b!tch and very off based sometimes . . . but at least she's raising eyebrows. sometimes you have to stir the pot (no pun).

If you can name one thing Bush has done to improve anything for the average American, I would honestly be surprised. This coming from an ex-Republican Bush voter.

I'm not on the side of "Bush is a great president" but this is a difficult thing to pinpoint for any president ever. Its easy to point to decisions they made that sucked balls, but its hard to give people credit for what they did right. For instance, some people think Clinton balanced the budget, others think it was Congress, and others think it is the general economy of the time (read: bubble).

Its difficult to find a single president-created decision that improves the lives of average Americans.

And IMO, I wish he would have stuck with the Privatization of Social Security as his legacy. I think in 40 years, people would have found that to be one of the best things this country has ever done. Unfortunately, Congress won't get on board because they cater to special-interest groups too much (because they need term limits).

^ I can say numerous things Clinton did right for a total score of 0:
Positive: Signed Welfare Reform
Positive: Supported and even defended NAFTA
Positive: Actually encouraged congress to retain PAYGO
Negative: raised taxes to their highest level in 30 years
Negative: Campaign Finance Reform and the errosion of free-speech
Negative: allowed the vindictive and destructive prosecution of Microsoft

What has Bush done for us? Attained a total score of -1:
Positive: Cut taxes
Positive: Further spread the frontiers of Free-Trade
Negative: Allowed and even encouraged a spending explosion
Negative: McCain Feingold and the errosion of free-speech
Negative: FUCKING INVADED IRAQ

All in all, to the best of my ability, Clinton was a better president to have than Bush has been. But it only goes to prove that intentions and results are often at odds

What hes unified is the right with the far-right.

I don't know ANY republicans (and I actually have a few that i consider friends) that think Bush is anywhere near the best president we've ever had.

And just in case this guy is serious...

The 22 amendment to the Constitution would need to be repealed. It was passed in 1951 or something like that. FDR went 4 (was it four?) terms.

You have got to be kidding, G. A lot of those red states include the poorer rural areas where there is less $ to go around for things like education. Less education allows for a friendler atmosphere for concepts like gullibility, something this administration has capitalized on.

Im not saying everyone who has lived or was educated in a red state is a sucker, but I am saying that there are enough of them to swing the tide when you add in the tendency for rural areas to be more conservative. Why do you think there were so many who actually believed the crap that 9/11=Iraq?

Man, I was a Bush supporter. I was the frigging chairman of the college republicans. I cannot support the president. He's gone way left on fiscal policy, does nothing about the immigration problem, and squandered the chance to become the second Ronald Reagan.

He is a thundering disappointment. If Bush ran in 2008, I would not vote for him. I am a lifelong Conservative. My membership in the republican party has been dropped. Until the party returns to the roots of fiscal conservatism, I will not return to the party.

No. I specificaly stated to the contrary. Im referring to secondary education, which is completly state funded, not post-secondary education, which is only supported in part by the state. And exactly how many of the state's population has attended/finished college? That ratio is my point.

You need to stop inferring what isn't there, B.
