I'm using MYSQL for a project I am working on, and I'm dickin around w/ some JOIN statements. The manual says that a NATURAL JOIN is the same as an INNER JOIN w/ a USING statement on all columns with the same name. So, I give it a whirl on two tables, testing both the INNER and NATURAL joins.

Only one problem: the result set returned for the NATURAL JOIN has less columns than the one for an INNER JOIN. I like this, but this means that a NATURAL join is not the same as an INNER join. Is this how a NATURAL join is supposed to work?

there is no discrepancy - they are the same thing - but a natural join makes it "pretty"
