the whole donnie darko thing really blew my mind.

i used to rent crappy lions gate movies all the time and saw a preview for it on their dvd's numerous times. right when it came out i went and rented it. it was decent, but didnt live up to my expectations from the preview (a common occurance for everyone). then like 2 years later everyone started worshipping it and i couldnt figure out why. then all the hate came and i felt slightly better.
