yeah it is. But if you are just surfing the internet, there is no diff. between b and g. It won't use anymore thoroughput....so b isn't obsolete yet by any means.

That being said, I'm not looking for much here, just a bit more than 8.

for one thing, wireless B doesnt have WPA. all it has is the broken-ass WEP.

and if you've got more than one user on the wireless B router, you will start seeing delays.
